Dr. Russ Campbell

I joined Vankleek Hill Veterinary Service in 2013. Originally from Prince Edward Island, I attended the Atlantic Veterinary College and proudly graduated in the top 58 students (in my class of 60). While attending AVC, I heard the phrase “They don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” That has stuck with me through practice, and guides my approach to each case; skills and knowledge are required for my job, but I am always mindful to pair it with empathy and understanding. 

Since 2013, I have set down roots in Vankleek Hill. I enjoy volunteering my time as a 4H presenter and also with the Central Canada Veterinary Association, where I served as president for a few years. While at work, my main areas of interest are: surgery, diagnostic imaging and internal medicine. Outside of work, I love my quality time with my wife Rosetta.
